In collaboration with our clients builders who are currently renovating there newly purchased property, Kenwood have carried out treatment for rising damp. Typically our work requires us to remove the wall plaster back to bare brick work. As our clients are having all walls replastered as part of their renovation works this has been taken care of by the on-site builders.

 

In this instance therefore, we have only installed the new chemical damp proof which was drilled into the mortar bed. To ensure the treatment as effective as possible we have injected the brickwork not just internally but externally as well, as pictured, ensuring protection to treated walls through the entire thickness.
