Walls treated and floor tanked ready for waterproof floor screedRemoval of wall plaster
Following our clients wish to sell their home Kenwood were called to investigate a problem with damp. Various walls within the reception rooms and kitchen required treatment for rising damp. This work was required due to a defect in the original damp proof course. Works entailed the removal of the wall plaster to expose the bare brickwork. We then injected a new chemical damp proof course into the mortar course. Additionally walls towards the rear of the properties required use of Kenwood’s specially formulation tanking system. This is used to prevent moisture ingress where external ground levels are higher. The walls were then rendered with waterproof renderings and skimmed with plaster.

With the property now free from rising damp our client can continue with the sale of their home. And with Kenwoods guarantee transfer service given the new owner peace of mind and a damp free home.
