Condensation Solutions
Condensation Control / Cheshunt / Completed: 8 Nov 2013
Following an on-going problem with poor ventilation, Kenwood were called in to resolve a problem of mould growth and dampness to a flat in Cheshunt. Built in the early 1970’s this property has had a persistent problem with condensation, a common problem in many properties that can be easily rectified with our range of systems. Condensation is caused by moisture in the atmosphere coming into contact with a cold surface, typically an external wall and around windows, which condenses leaving water droplets. This can result be unsightly mould growth, especially in corners, behind furniture and within wardrobes and cupboards etc.
Due to the layout of this particular building Kenwood have installed two separate heat recovery ventilation units to alleviate the ventilation problem. These units introduce fresh, filtered air into the property providing air circulation, removing the damp, moisture laden air and significantly improving the air quality.
With these units installed the tenants can now enjoy their home free from unsightly mould and condensation.
