Damp Proofing in Kensington & Chelsea

Damp Proofing / Kensington & Chelsea / Completed: 24 Aug 2016

This recently completed project is a beautiful mid terrace Town House in London. Rising damp was affecting various walls within the living room, dining room and bathroom areas. Kenwoods ensure the bare minimum of disruption whilst this work was carried out. We used sheeting to protect highly valuable items, expensive flooring and to minimise the spread of dust whilst removing wall plaster.

Once the wall plaster had been removed we injected a chemical damp proof course. This is done to prevent moisture rising through the brickwork. We have re-rendered the walls in question and applied a skim finish coat. Once the walls have been dried out, our client can redecorate their home.
