/ Golders Green / Completed: 3 Mar 2014
Major works project just completed in the Golders Green area.?This semi-detached property built in the 1930’s required many of the ground floor walls to be treated for rising damp. The ground floor was also suffering from an outbreak of Dry Rot (Serpula Lacrymans) which required the replacement of much of the flooring timbers within the ground floor and the irrigation of various walls.?Irrigation is the term used for the eradication of rot from masonry. As part of these extensive works during the replacement of the flooring timbers Kenwood’s have installed sub floor air bricks these allow the sub floor to be ventilated as a further measure to prevent against future rot occurring now leaving this property fully treated and protected against rising dampness and dry rot.
