Vault tanking treatment has just been completed within an under pavement vault in the heart of London. With space in London being at a premium, many underground vault spaces are converted into areas where valuable items can be store or liveable rooms created, commonly bathrooms and studies. In order to do this Kenwood’s use a specialist treatment system known as Tanking which is a waterproof slurry that is applied to the walls and ceilings, along with our range of waterproof concretes and admixtures.

This system provides a waterproof barrier against moisture ingress from all sides, coupled with our specialist rendering system incorporating waterproof additives giving another level of protection to areas that are susceptible to dampness.
