Damp Proofing and Timber Preservation in Aldbury, Herts
Damp Proofing / Aldbury, Herts / Completed: 22 May 2015
Kenwood plc were called to a period property in the Tring area to investigate dampness and a timber infestation following our clients concerns identified during their purchase of the property. This lovely end of terrace house was built in the 1800’s and as such would be unlikely to have originally been constructed with a damp proof course.
The solution used was to inject a new chemical damp proof course into the brickwork to create a new barrier against dampness rising. This property was also suffering from a woodworm infestation affecting the roofing timbers which we have treated using Kenwood timber preservative, a highly effective solution for the eradication of wood boring insects.
