This advanced Dry rot outbreak has developed following a leaking downpipe and has led to severe fungal growth in the form of ‘fruiting bodies’ as seen in the image here. This project involved the removal of flooring timbers for disposal, sterilising and irrigating the walls and renewing the timbers, which are isolated from the masonry.
