Works were completed to a vaulted storage area in the basement of Paul Smith clothing in London. Situated on Floral street surrounded by other designer stores, this building dates back to the 1800’s. Storage and retail space is important for shops and areas of dampness can present an issue for there stock. Treatment for this defect included the removal of the paint on the brickwork, application of Kenwoods SWS tanking system and replastering of the area. Tanking is an impervious barrier used to prevent moisture ingress in areas below ground level. With Kenwoods works complete they can continue to provide beautiful clothing without risk of damage.
